| School Screening Program |
|
Laxmi Charitable Trust through its School Screening Program has examined more than 25000 students from 627 schools, distributed more than 700 spectacles free of cost in last 1 and ½ year. The program is now supported by India Vision Institute and Cooper Vision India. First school which was covered as a joint project of India Vision Institute and Cooper Vision India was “National Urdu School” at Taloja. We checked 1185 students and provided with free spectacles to 91 students. Distribution program of these spectacles was done on 8th November 2017 at the same school, in presence of officials of India Vision Institute, Cooper Vision India and Board members of National Urdu School along with Trustees and staff of Laxmi Charitable Trust. India Vision Institute and Cooper Vision India has promised to continue their support in this noble activity even in future. |
