A meeting with Anganwadi workers was organized by Laxmi Charitable Trust at the Integrated Child Development Project office Mhasala on 27th October 2025. The purpose of this meeting was to provide detailed information about the Raigad District Eye Health Project, which is being implemented by Laxmi Charitable Trust with the support of Sightsavers India and the J S W Foundation.

During this session, the participants were guided on various eye diseases and trained on the importance of EYE CARE AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES. A screening kit was distributed to all the participants, along with demonstration and explanation on its correct usage.

Following the orientation, eye examinations were conducted of all attending Anganwadi workers.

The meeting was graced by Supervisor Smt. Dhumal Madam, Smt. Palave Madam and attended by a total of 90 ANGANWADI WORKERS.

At the end of the event, an appeal was made to the ANGANWADI WORKERS to serve as volunteers in promoting community eye health awareness. The workers enthusiastically pledged their support and commitment to assist in this noble cause.
