Laxmi College of optometry team of students and faculties had a wonderful experience at ESO’s International Vision Science and Optometry Conference (EIVOC), August 14 to 16, 2015, held at Confluence Banquets and Resorts, Mahabalipuram, Chennai.

 

They shared some great moment with legends in Optometry like Dr. M.O Jalie, Dr. Dr. William Benjamin, Dr. John Ang, Dr. Neera Kapoor, Dr. Ramesh S ve, Dr. Rajeshwari Mahadevan, Mr. Nilesh Thite, Dr K.K and many others.

 

Mr. Rakesh Kaushal (Faculty & course coordinator) and Mr Mohammed Kazi (Faculty) along with students participated in the conference. Faculties attended the preconference workshop session on “Teaching and Assessment in Dispensing Optics” which was organized by Elite school of optometry and Association of British Dispensing Opticians.

 

Faculties and students presented scientific papers in the conference.

 

Team also learned about the newer innovations in optometry which are happening. LCO team not only participated in scientific paper presentation but they also enjoyed the cultural program and gala dinner organized by ESO. Thus they had a fabulous experience and exposure at the International optometry conference.
