      Openings: Consultant - Anesthesia - JOB0020

Laxmi Charitable Trust was founded in the year 1999 by Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar & Mrs. Jayanti Haldipurkar as founder trustees.

The idea of a Charitable Trust was born out of the necessity to provide quality eye care to sections of the rural population where accessibility to even primary Eye Care facilities is improbable and remote.
A little deed in the form of affordable eye care could transform the lives of many of these visually impaired individuals from the depths of darkness to the lights of self-reliance. In the backdrop of this situation, the concept of Laxmi Charitable Trust was established in the year 1999 with an aim to:-
Provide comprehensive, affordable and quality eye care services to the most needy at their doorsteps,
Start a world class Eye Bank,
Train Ophthalmologists in modern surgical techniques.
Train and prepare Paramedical workers in Eye Care so that they would be of assistance to eye surgeons involved in community eye services and to help the country in its march towards achieving the goal of “Vision 2020”.
Laxmi Charitable Trust is actively working on the various projects to achieve the above mentioned goals. Many philanthropic individuals and organizations have joined us in this journey. Over all these years we were able to conduct more than 1300 camps and could perform more than 36000 free cataract surgeries for poor and needy people in the District of Raigad and Thane. However, we have miles to go, considering the population that is in urgent need of timely eye care. The most advanced and latest medical facilities are accessible for patients of Laxmi Charitable Trust Eye Hospital.
Laxmi Charitable Trust works with its mission statement of compassionate and comprehensive patient-centric quality eye care to all at affordable costs without compromising on high values of professionalism.
